Matched by real fireplace techs
A fireplace tech checks your model, serial and photos against the parts list for your unit before we quote, so you avoid wrong orders and return hassles.
Gas, propane and electric
One place for natural gas and propane fireplaces, inserts and log sets, and electric fireplaces and inserts.
Price and fit confirmed first
A tech confirms the part fits your model, and you see the price before you pay. Nothing is ordered until you approve the quote.
Help after it arrives
Shipping and tracking updates by email, a check-in after delivery, and if a part we sold you doesn't fix the problem, your follow-up video call is half price.
How ordering a part works
Five simple steps. No guessing from part photos, no wrong orders.
- 1
Send your model and serial
Use the form below. A clear photo of the rating plate (and the old part, if it's out) is the best thing you can send.
- 2
A tech identifies the exact part
We match it to your model, serial and fuel type (natural gas, propane or electric), so you don't end up with a part that almost fits.
- 3
Quote, typically within 1 business day
Your quote typically arrives by email within 1 business day (24 hours), with the price, availability and shipping options. A tech confirms fit with you, and nothing is ordered until you approve.
- 4
Pay by secure link
Approve the quote and pay through a secure Square payment link. Your card details never touch our site.
- 5
It ships to you
We offer multiple shipping options depending on availability (in stock, back order or special order). Your quote shows the options and timing. We email you tracking when it ships and check in after it arrives.
Where to find your model and serial number
This is the most useful thing you can send us. One clear photo of the whole plate or label is perfect.
Gas or propane fireplace, insert or log set
- Look for a metal plate or sticker behind the lower louver or grille, inside the control compartment, or on a chain under the firebox.
- On inserts and log sets, check behind the surround panel or near the gas valve.
- The plate lists the model, serial number and fuel type (natural gas or propane). Take one clear photo of the whole plate.
- Only open the lower grille or access door. Don't remove the glass or any panels to find it.
Electric fireplace or insert
- Look for a label on the back, side or underside of the unit, or just inside the top or bottom trim near the controls.
- Wall-mount and freestanding units usually have it on the back or the base. Your owner's manual, the box or your receipt also show the model.
- Built-in insert you can't see behind? Send a photo of the front, the control panel and any label you can reach, and we'll take it from there.
- Never open an electric fireplace or pull it out while it's plugged in or the breaker is on.
Natural gas & propane
Gas fireplace, insert and log set parts
The parts behind most gas fireplace no-start, no-heat and won't-stay-lit problems. See the full gas parts guide.
Thermocouples
The pilot-safety sensor on standing-pilot (millivolt) fireplaces. It holds the gas valve open only while the pilot is lit.
Common sign: Pilot lights, then goes out when you let go of the knob.
Thermopiles
Sits in the pilot flame and powers a millivolt valve, wall switch or remote. A weak one is a classic no-heat cause.
Common sign: Pilot stays lit, but the main burner won't come on.
Request this part → Guide: Pilot is lit, burner won't come on
Pilot assemblies
Complete pilot assemblies, hoods, orifices and flame sensors, matched to your model and fuel type (natural gas or propane).
Common sign: Weak, lazy or sooty pilot flame, or a pilot that won't catch.
Igniters & spark electrodes
Piezo igniters, spark electrodes and ignitor wires for standing-pilot and electronic-ignition systems.
Common sign: No click, or clicking with no spark at the pilot.
Gas valves
Replacement gas valves and valve parts, matched to the exact valve family, model and fuel type. Always installed by a qualified technician.
Common sign: A tech has confirmed the valve is the fault.
Control modules & IFC boards
Ignition control modules and IFC boards for electronic-ignition (IPI) fireplaces, including SIT Proflame-type systems.
Common sign: Blinking or beeping error codes, lockouts, no response.
Remotes & receivers
Handheld remotes, receivers, wall switches and thermostat remotes, matched to the system your fireplace uses.
Common sign: The fireplace works from the switch or control, but not the remote.
Battery packs & holders
Receiver battery boxes and backup battery packs for battery-powered and electronic-ignition systems.
Common sign: Corroded battery contacts, or no backup operation in a power outage.
Blowers & fans
Convection blower kits, fan motors, fan speed controls and heat-sensor switches.
Common sign: Fan is noisy, won't come on, or won't shut off.
Glass & screens
Model-specific ceramic glass panels, door frames and safety screens. Manufacturers warn not to run a gas fireplace with the glass cracked, broken or removed.
Common sign: Cracked, chipped or cloudy glass, or a missing barrier screen.
Gaskets
Glass and door gaskets, rope seals and gasket kits sized for your unit.
Common sign: Worn, flattened or loose gasket around the glass or door.
Logs, media & embers
Replacement log sets, glowing embers, rock wool and glass media listed for your burner. Placement follows your manual.
Common sign: Cracked or crumbling logs, sooting, or a tired-looking flame bed.
Propane conversion kits
Manufacturer conversion kits for models approved to switch between natural gas and propane. Buy the kit from us, then have a local qualified pro install it.
Common sign: Switching fuel type. A conversion must be installed by a qualified pro, and we'll help you find one.
Electric
Electric fireplace and insert parts
No gas, no pilot: when an electric fireplace fails it's usually the remote, the heater, the flame effect or the controls. See the full electric parts guide.
Electric fireplace remote
Replacement remotes matched to your model, plus help pairing it.
Common sign: Remote screen is blank or won't control the unit after fresh batteries and re-pairing.
Electric heater / fan assembly
Heater and blower assemblies for electric fireplaces and inserts.
Common sign: Flames work but no heat, after the settings and thermostat are checked; or a loud, rattling fan.
Electric flame-effect motor, LEDs or bulbs
Flicker motors, LED light strips and bulbs that create the flame effect, by model.
Common sign: Flame effect is frozen, dim, missing a color, or clicking.
Electric control board
Main control boards, control panels and receivers for electric units.
Common sign: Unit won't respond from the panel or the remote, or shows an error code.
Electric thermal switch / cutoff
Overheat thermal switches and temperature cutoffs. Repeated trips have a cause that needs finding first.
Common sign: Heater keeps shutting off even after a proper cool-down and reset.
Electric glass / front panel
Front glass, panels, trim and mesh screens for electric fireplaces and inserts.
Common sign: Cracked or scratched front glass, or a damaged trim or panel.

Not sure which part you need?
Show a fireplace tech on a video call, starting at $49. Point your phone at the fireplace and the rating plate, and the tech tells you what's wrong and which part to order, before you spend money on the wrong one.
Fireplace parts questions
How do I know which fireplace part I need?
Send us your fireplace's brand, model and serial number (a photo of the rating plate is best) and describe what it's doing. A fireplace tech matches the part to your exact model before we quote. If you're not sure what's wrong, a short video call lets a tech look at it with you first.
Do you sell parts for electric fireplaces?
Yes. We source parts for electric fireplaces and inserts, including remotes, heater and fan assemblies, flame-effect motors, LED strips and bulbs, control boards, thermal switches and front glass, as well as parts for gas and propane fireplaces, inserts and log sets.
Do you sell OEM or aftermarket parts?
We find the correct OEM or compatible part for your model, and your quote tells you which one it is. Prefer the original manufacturer's (OEM) part only? Just say so in the notes and we'll quote OEM.
How fast will I get a quote?
Quotes typically arrive by email within 1 business day (24 hours). Parts with complicated lookups can take a little longer, and we'll let you know if yours does.
How much does a fireplace part cost, and how do I pay?
It depends on the part and the model, so every request gets its own quote by email with price and availability. Nothing is ordered until you approve the quote. Then we email you a secure Square payment link; your card details go to Square and never touch our site.
What about shipping, returns and warranty on parts?
Shipping: we offer multiple shipping options depending on the part's availability (in stock, back order or special order), and your quote shows the options and timing. We email you tracking once it ships. Returns: the best return is the one you never need, which is why a fireplace tech confirms the part fits your model before you pay. If something still isn't right, contact us before sending anything back and we'll work with you; returns are reviewed case by case. Electrical parts (control modules, valves, boards, igniters) and special-order items can't be returned once ordered. Parts carry the manufacturer's warranty only.
Can I install the part myself?
Some parts, like remotes, batteries and some glass media, are simple. Anything that connects to the gas line or gas valve, and any propane conversion, should be installed by a qualified technician. You can buy the part or kit from us and have a local pro install it. On an electric fireplace, never open the unit while it's plugged in or the breaker is on, and leave internal parts to a qualified service person. We'll tell you which kind your part is, and help you find a local pro if you need one.
What if the part doesn't fix the problem?
We check in after your part arrives. If a part we sold you doesn't fix the problem, your follow-up video call is half price, so a tech can work out what's next.
Do I need a video call to order a part?
No. If you know what you need, just send the request form. If you're not sure which part it is, a video call with a fireplace tech (starting at $49; you choose the call type when you book) lets a tech identify it before you buy.
